Is the road accessible in all weather conditions?
Yes, the road is accessible by car all year round but a 4WD recommended
How long is the drive from the ferry?
Approx 25km or 45 minutes (depends on how fast you drive on dirt roads – it can be down in 30 minutes or up to 60 minutes)
How do we operate the solar and wind power system?
There are full instructions left at the property and also will be explained by the cleaner on arrival. It is easy.
What happens if the power goes out and we can not reboot the system?
This has only happened once before in a huge storm. Make sure that you have adequate supplies. There is a battery lantern & candles at the property plus gas heating. Time to get romantic!

Yes, this property has either a 3 or 5 night minimum, depending on the time of the year.
