Is the road accessible in all weather conditions?
Yes, the road is accessible by car all year round but a 4WD recommended.
How long is the drive from the ferry?
Approx 25km or 45 minutes.
How do we operate the solar and wind power system?
There are full instructions left at the property and on the information booklet sent to you by the booking agent. It is extremely straightforward.
What happens if there is insufficient energy from solar, wind and battery system?
On the very rare occasions when there is little or no wind and solar generation and the batteries drain, there is a diesel generator that kicks in automatically.
Where is the nearest petrol station and supermarket?

Can we walk down the cliffs to see any animal life or go fishing?
You will be entering Marine Reserve at your own risk
Does Cape Hart Have WIFI?
Cape Hart Wilderness Retreat has strong WIFI connectivity via satellite broadband, but data usage is not unlimited, so we request that usage is limited to email and low data activities. There is mobile coverage via Telstra but intermittent for Optus and other carriers. There is a landline phone for emergencies.
Is there a minimum stay length?
Yes, this property has either a 3 or 5 night minimum, depending on the time of the year.
A 2 NIGHT booking may be available SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY, with a $100 surcharge applicable.
